Edgewater – Lake Wanaka

Celebrate your love on the lakefront at Edgewater. With Lake Wanaka as your backdrop and our magnificent mountains beyond, Edgewater offers you a unique venue for your ceremony, celebration and accommodation for your special day.

Your marriage ceremony will take place in our carefully manicured park-like grounds right on the shores of Lake Wanaka. After your guests have shared your special ceremony they can enjoy seasonally selected canapés served on the lakeside patio and lawn area. If the weather is not in your favour there is the option of having your ceremony indoors.

We are able to cater for 70 guests for a buffet style or plated meal in our Pavilion. For larger parties of up to 150, we are able to extend our Pavilion with the addition of the Alcove and a marquee for extra table space, or space for a band and dance floor.

Edgewater has 103 guest rooms in hotel studio, suite and apartment style accommodation. We extend set wedding guest accommodation rates to all our wedding parties.

When you choose Edgewater, Lake Wanaka as your wedding venue, we gift two nights in a premium suite to the couple on their wedding night.
